1. Is a deposit required?
We require a deposit of 30% of the rent, plus the booking fee. If the booking is made less than eight weeks before the start of your holiday, the full amount will be required plus the booking fee.

 

2. What if I need to cancel my holiday?
Your holiday is not cancellable. The contract is legally binding and means that you will still be liable for the full cost of the holiday if you find it necessary to cancel your holiday. We realise unexpected events do occasionally arise and so we will move a deposit from one week to another within the same calendar year, provided there is at least 6 months clear between the written notice to us of the intention to move a holiday period and the start date of the holiday originally booked.

 

3. Is Holiday Insurance included?
No. We strongly advise you to take holiday insurance when booking your holiday to reduce your liability in the event of cancellation due to illness or accidents.

 

4. Can I book a short break?
The holiday homes are set up for weekly holiday rentals of 7 nights. The months of June, July and August are all exclusively a minimum of 7 nights. Short breaks of 3 nights + may be considered for September to May.

 

5. Are bed linen and towels included?
Absolutely! The bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are included. The beds will be made up prior to your arrival.

 

6. Is there a travel cot?
A travel cot is available free of charge, please request at time of booking.

 

7. Is linen provided on a travel cot?
No – for various reasons, some children have allergies to certain washing powders, some parents prefer sheets and others prefer grow-bags etc. You will need to bring your own linen for the travel cot.

 

8. Holiday house accepts 8 guests, can I bring a party of 8 guests & a baby in a cot?
Sure. Our holiday homes are both quite spacious, please note the addition on your booking form.

 

9. Can I bring my dog with me?
Maybe! Please contact us directly regarding your request. We charge £5.00 per paw. We realise dogs are very much part of a family, as long as your dog is well behaved and not left unaccompanied in our holiday home. Dogs are only permitted on the ground floor and not in the bedrooms. Any excess cleaning over and above the paw charge will be notified and charged accordingly.

 

10. What time can I arrive and when must I depart by?
The arrival time is 4.00pm and you must depart by 10.00am. Cleaning commences at 10:00am and we will access the house from this time.

 

11. How do I get the keys for the property?
When the balance has been paid in full, we will send you pre-arrival. The code for the key-safe is noted in the pre-arrival details.
